The Call of the Crows
Crows gather in groups, living and functioning tribally. They are very active and vocal in the fall. They are reminding us that we are collective beings meant to work in groups and with the greater collectives of humanity and of the cosmos. We are not meant to be isolated beings working alone.
Their activity is not random. They are active, flying around in groups, moving the air, cleansing the energies. As we move through the fall season, we move through the deeper layers of being, cleansing and clearing what no longer serves us. By the time we get to the winter solstice we are deep within, ready for the next part of our work. As we move through the Yule period, we are in evaluation and early dreaming. Then we move into full dreaming. By the time we get to Imbolc, we are stirring, ready for the early seed planting of our dreams. The crows resume activity and vocalization.
The crows call to us to activate our power and magic and to do collectively. In the fall, the crows ask us if we are applying our power and magic to the deep internal work. Mid winter to spring they ask us if we are applying our power and magic to creation.
When you hear crow do you listen? Remember we are not here to go through it all alone. Each tribe member offers something valuable and precious to the tribe. Reach out and ask for help if you need it. Reach out and work with others if you are solid in it.
